Job Description

Opening for a driven Senior Accountant to join our dynamic advertising agency.

Responsibilities:

• Maintain and update financial records, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger entries. Ensure accuracy and completeness of all financial transactions.
• Prepare financial statements, including income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements.
• Collaborate with the finance team to develop and monitor budgets. Assist in creating accurate financial forecasts and projections to support strategic decision-making.
• Prepare and file accurate and timely tax returns, ensuring compliance with local, state, and federal tax regulations. Stay updated on changes in tax laws and regulations.
• Provide necessary documentation and assistance during internal and external audits. Ensure that financial records are organized and readily available for audit purposes.
• Generate regular financial reports for management, providing insights into the company's financial performance and suggesting areas for optimization.
• Communicate effectively with vendors, clients, and internal departments regarding financial matters, including invoicing, payments, and financial discrepancies.
• Monitor and control company expenses, review expense reports, and identify cost-saving opportunities.
• Handling company's visa, insurance and trade license duties from case to case basis
• Continuously assess and improve financial processes and procedures to enhance efficiency and accuracy in financial operations.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree or diploma in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred.
• Professional certification such as CPA or CMA is a plus.
• Minimum 3 years of experience working in accounting or finance roles in UAE.
• Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., Tally, SAP, etc.) and MS Excel.
• Strong understanding of financial regulations and compliance.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Detail oriented with a high level of accuracy in data entry and financial calculations.
• Effective communication skills to collaborate with cross functional teams.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Strong ethical standards and commitment to maintaining confidentiality.
