About this job: The QHSE Auditor and Coordinator is responsible for ensuring that the organization's Quality, Health, Safety, and Environmental (QHSE) management systems are effectively implemented, maintained, and continuously improved. This role aims to promote compliance with international standards (e.g., ISO 9001, 14001, 45001) and legal requirements, minimize risks, and enhance operational efficiency through systematic audits, risk assessments, and process improvements. The incumbent will act as a key facilitator in fostering a culture of quality, safety, and sustainability across the organization by coordinating QHSE initiatives, driving corrective actions, and supporting ongoing certification and regulatory compliance efforts. Roles, Responsibilities, Duties QHSE Audits: Conduct internal QHSE audits to ensure compliance with ISO standards (9001, 14001, 45001, and others). Identify and report non-conformities, risks, and opportunities for improvement. Prepare detailed audit reports with recommendations and corrective actions. Ensure timely closure of non-conformities and follow up on corrective actions. Assist in external certification and surveillance audits. Documentation and Reporting: Maintain and update QHSE management system documentation, including policies, procedures, and records. Compile and present audit findings and QHSE performance data to management. Assist in the preparation of reports for regulatory authorities and stakeholders. Risk Management: Identify and evaluate risks related to quality, health, safety, and the environment. Support the development and implementation of risk mitigation plans. Ensure compliance with legal and regulatory requirements. Training and Awareness: Conduct QHSE awareness and training sessions for employees and contractors. Promote a culture of safety, quality, and environmental sustainability across the organization. Assist in developing training materials and competency assessments. Coordination and Communication: Collaborate with department heads, project managers, and site teams to ensure QHSE requirements are met. Act as a liaison between the organization and external certification bodies, auditors, and regulatory authorities. Coordinate QHSE activities, including inspections, risk assessments, and incident investigations. Continuous Improvement: Support continual improvement initiatives in line with the organization's strategic goals. Analyse audit data, incident reports, and other inputs to identify trends and opportunities for improvement. Drive implementation of best practices and innovation in QHSE management. Regulatory Compliance: Monitor changes in local and international QHSE regulations and standards. Ensure the organization complies with all applicable statutory and regulatory requirements. Provide guidance on meeting compliance obligations during operations and projects. Management Reviews and Improvement Plans: Support management review meetings by providing key insights and data on QHSE performance. Assist in the development and implementation of improvement plans based on management directives and audit findings. Track progress and effectiveness of improvement initiatives. QHSE System Integration: Facilitate the integration of QHSE systems with other management systems (e.g., energy, business continuity). Identify opportunities for process optimization to improve system efficiency and alignment with organizational goals. Performance Monitoring and KPIs: Develop, monitor, and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) related to QHSE. Analyze performance trends and provide actionable recommendations to enhance outcomes. Ensure QHSE objectives are aligned with the organization's strategic goals. Qualifications: Education: Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Environmental Science, Occupational Health, or a related field. Certifications: Lead Auditor certifications in ISO 9001, 14001, and 45001 are mandatory. Additional certifications in ISO 50001, 22301, or 41001 are a plus. Experience and Skills: 3-5 years of experience in QHSE auditing, compliance, or a related role. Experience in facilities management, construction industries is preferred. #J-18808-Ljbffr
