Job Description

The Mall Security Supervisor is responsible for overseeing the daily security operations of the shopping mall, ensuring the safety and security of customers, tenants, employees, and property. This role requires effective leadership, quick decision-making, and a proactive approach to maintaining a secure environment.

Key Responsibilities:

Supervise and coordinate the activities of the security team, including scheduling, training, and performance management. Ensure all security policies and procedures are strictly followed. Conduct regular patrols of the mall premises to identify and address security risks. Respond promptly and professionally to security incidents, emergencies, and disturbances. Collaborate with local law enforcement and emergency services when needed. Investigate security breaches, thefts, and other incidents, preparing detailed reports. Monitor surveillance systems and access control measures. Provide exceptional customer service while enforcing security protocols. Train security staff on safety protocols, conflict resolution, and emergency response. Ensure proper maintenance and functionality of security equipment. Develop and implement strategies to prevent losses and enhance safety.

Qualifications:

High school diploma or equivalent; additional security or law enforcement training preferred. Proven experience in security supervision, ideally in a retail or mall environment. Strong leadership and team management skills. Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities. Ability to remain calm and make sound decisions under pressure. Proficiency in using surveillance equipment and security systems. Knowledge of safety regulations and emergency procedures.

Working Conditions:

Rotational shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays. Active, on-foot patrolling and occasional exposure to challenging situations.
