Job Description

Responsible to understand and implement Machine Maintenance (CNC/manual)/ Ops Tooling maintenance in OGI under the Guidance of Ops/MS Manager and continually improve the performance according to the company QMS manual, policies and procedures. To carryout plant and equipment maintenance as per maintenance program. To attend break down of machines immediately and fix the problems. To maintain fire alarm and firefighting system in the company. to maintain Legal compliance of Electrical Equipment's and Electrical Panels.

Education / Qualification:



Preferably be a ITI/Diploma/Degree in Mechanical Engineering from a recognized university or significant Oil and gas or industry experience in Maintenance to machines.

Experience:



At least Five Years' experience in a similar position.

Must have experience of documenting, implementing and Maintaining records of Maintenance as QMS based upon the requirements of API Spec Q1 and ISO 9001.

Must possess excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.

Must have good organizational skills.

Must be able to lead by example.

Additional knowledge in problem solving techniques desirable.

Additional Should have good computer skills, literate in Microsoft Office.

Technical Skills:



Understanding and knowledge on Machines and parts drawings.

Understanding and knowledge of Machine Controls.

Administrative Skills:



A team player able to work closely with fellow employees at all levels in the organization.

Ability to adapt positively to changes in policies, procedures and priorities or work environments.

Ability to communicate effectively interdepartmentally, and extremally with customers and vendors.

Ability to respond effectively and in a timely manner to departmental needs.

Duties, Responsibilities & Key Tasks:



Maintenance of plant and CNC/Manual Machines etc.

The maintenance, repair and calibration of all workshop machinery.

Prepare necessary preventive breakdown procedure of machineries and equipment's and training of maintenance store on these documents.

Plan, organize and direct an effective utility operations and maintenance program

Preventive maintenance and attending break down maintenance

Preparing preventive maintenance checklist for all important machineries and equipment and carrying out maintenance as per this plan.

Acting on breakdown maintenance request from production on a timely manner and restore them back to use and analyze them for update of preventive maintenance plan.

Technical assistance for Purchasing related to maintenance, new equipment / machinery purchase

Assistance in the price estimation of maintenance works.

Maintaining Fire Alarm and Fire Fighting system

Maintaining of electrical panels and equipment's as per legal compliance

Coordinates departmental activities with other departments; provides responsible advice and counsel to the General Manager, and department managers on maintenance issues oversees the maintenance of departmental records and files.

Analyze, interpret and apply information, choose among alternative courses of action and arrive at a recommendation

QHSE System Requirements:



OGI operates a Quality Management System (QMS) at all operational team to meet their business, legal and moral QHSE obligations. All personnel are required to work in full compliance with the requirements set out in the OGI QMS, this will include as a minimum.

Ensuring that work is carried out in compliance with company Quality, Health Safety and Environmental policies and procedures.
Not undertaking any task for which authorization and/or training has not been given.

Ensuring the highest standard of workmanship produced is in accordance with the company expectations and as per customer, regulatory standards and specification.

Promoting good health, safety and environmental practices throughout all company activities.

Wearing the assigned Personal Protective Equipment required.

Taking care to prevent harm to themselves, colleagues and others and the environment that may be caused by our acts or omissions.

Keeping the work area neat, organized & free of trip and other hazards.

Reporting hazards in plant, equipment and other work place, or short comings in the existing controls, to a superior without delay.

Supporting continual improvement of the integrated management system by expressing better and safer ways to perform tasks and improve policies and procedures.

Participate in QHSE training required to meet minimum identified for position undertaken Attending Toolbox Talks, QHSE meetings and trainings as and when required.

QHSE Authority:



To report any unsafe behaviors to their immediate Supervisor or Safety representative. Where there may be conflict report directly to facility General Manager.

Authority on QHSE grounds to stop operations or delivery of product on the existence of an immediate risk of harm to personnel or environmental pollution and damage to property.
Salary: AED 2500-3500 (Negotiable)
