The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 5 years of experience in aircraft maintenance, with a strong background in troubleshooting, repair, and preventive maintenance of various aircraft systems and components. This role requires a detail-oriented professional who can work independently and as part of a team to ensure the safety, reliability, and performance of our aircraft.Key Responsibilities:
Inspection & Maintenance:
Perform routine and scheduled inspections, maintenance, and repairs on aircraft systems, including avionics, engines, hydraulic systems, and landing gear.
Conduct thorough pre-flight and post-flight inspections to ensure compliance with safety regulations and manufacturer specifications.
Troubleshooting & Repair:
Diagnose malfunctions using specialized equipment and technical manuals, and perform necessary repairs or adjustments.
Identify and resolve mechanical, electrical, and avionics issues promptly and accurately.
Documentation:
Maintain detailed records of all maintenance activities, including repairs, inspections, and parts used.
Ensure all documentation complies with regulatory requirements and company policies.
Compliance & Safety:
Adhere to FAA regulations, company procedures, and safety protocols.
Ensure all tools and equipment are properly maintained and calibrated.
Collaboration:
Work closely with engineers, pilots, and other technicians to address complex issues and implement solutions.
Provide technical support and guidance to junior technicians and other team members.
Continuous Improvement:
Stay updated on industry trends, technological advancements, and changes in regulations.
Participate in training programs and workshops to enhance skills and knowledge.
Qualifications:
Experience:
Minimum of 5 years of experience in aircraft maintenance or a related field.
Proven track record of performing complex maintenance tasks on various types of aircraft.
Education:
Diploma or equivalent in Aircraft Engineering.
FAA Airframe and Powerplant (A&P) license required.
Additional certifications or specialized training in aircraft systems (e.g., avionics, propulsion) preferred.
