Job Description

Role Description:

As an MEP Technician will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems in commercial, residential, or industrial buildings.

Key Responsibilities:

1.Installation and Maintenance:

Install and maintain HVAC systems, including air conditioning units, ventilation systems, and heating equipment.

Install and maintain electrical systems, including wiring, lighting, and power distribution panels.

Install and maintain plumbing systems, including water supply lines, drainage systems, and sanitary fixtures.

Perform preventive maintenance on all MEP systems to ensure optimal operation and longevity.

2.Troubleshooting and Repair:

Diagnose and repair issues with mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems.

Respond to emergency calls for MEP system failures and ensure quick and effective resolution.

Test and calibrate equipment to ensure proper functionality.

3.Safety and Compliance:

Ensure all work is performed in compliance with relevant codes, standards, and safety regulations.

Maintain a clean and safe working environment by following established safety protocols.

Keep up-to-date with changes in building codes and safety regulations related to MEP systems.

4.Documentation and Reporting:

Maintain accurate records of all maintenance and repair work performed.

Prepare and submit reports on the condition of MEP systems and any issues encountered.

Coordinate with other departments and contractors as needed for larger projects or complex repairs.

5.Inventory and Tools Management:

Manage and maintain an inventory of necessary tools and parts for MEP work.

Order and replenish supplies as needed to ensure availability for ongoing and future projects.

Qualifications:

1. Diploma or technical certification in Mechanical, Electrical, or Plumbing Engineering or a related field.

2. A Minimum of 3-5 years of experience as an MEP Technician or in a similar role.

3. Strong understanding of mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems.

4. Proficient in reading and interpreting technical drawings and blueprints.

5. Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

6. Ability to work independently or as part of a team.

7. Good communication and interpersonal skills.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: AED2,000.00 - AED2,500.00 per month
