Position Summary

We are actively seeking a highly skilled and experienced MEP (Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing) Maintenance Technician to join our esteemed team at Xstrike, located in the vibrant city of Dubai, UAE. The ideal candidate should possess a minimum of 1-2 years of hands-on experience in MEP maintenance, preferably within the Entertainment/Leisure industry. As an MEP Maintenance Technician, you will play a critical role in ensuring the efficient operation of our MEP systems through comprehensive maintenance and repairs.

Responsibilities

• Execute thorough routine maintenance and repairs on a diverse range of MEP equipment and systems, emphasising precision and adherence to industry standards.
• Conduct regular inspections to proactively identify potential issues or malfunctions in MEP systems, implementing preventive measures.
• Utilise advanced troubleshooting skills to diagnose MEP-related problems swiftly, determining the most effective course of action for resolution.
• Execute repairs or replacements of defective parts or components in MEP systems, including electrical, mechanical, and plumbing components.
• Adhere strictly to safety regulations and procedures, ensuring a secure work environment for all team members during MEP maintenance activities.
• Maintain meticulous records of all MEP maintenance and repair activities, contributing to a streamlined operational process.
• Collaborate closely with team members to prioritise and schedule MEP maintenance tasks, optimising workflow efficiency.
• Assist in the seamless installation and setup of new MEP equipment, applying advanced technical expertise.
• Provide hands-on training and support to fellow team members, as required.
• Stay abreast of industry advancements and technological developments in MEP systems, continuously enhancing skillsets.

Preferred Candidate

• A minimum of 1-2 years of proven experience in MEP maintenance, with a preference for candidates with experience in the Entertainment/Leisure industry.
• High school diploma; a degree from a vocational school will be considered a significant advantage.
• Professional Certifications relevant to MEP maintenance (e.g. CMRP, HVAC certified) are highly preferred.
• Demonstrated strong technical and mechanical aptitude, with a focus on MEP systems.
• Exceptional problem-solving and troubleshooting skills specific to MEP systems.
• Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within an MEP maintenance team.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, particularly in the context of MEP systems.
• Meticulous attention to detail with the ability to prioritise MEP maintenance tasks effectively.
• Capability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines within the MEP maintenance context.
• Flexibility to work variable hours, including weekends and public holidays, as needed.
