Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced

Maintenance Supervisor

with a strong background in construction to oversee and manage the maintenance operations of our facilities and job sites. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring that all maintenance activities, repairs, and inspections are carried out efficiently, safely, and in compliance with company standards and regulatory requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

Supervise and coordinate the daily maintenance activities related to construction sites, equipment, and facilities. Plan, assign, and oversee maintenance tasks for a team of technicians and laborers. Conduct routine inspections of buildings, machinery, and equipment to ensure proper functionality and safety. Troubleshoot and repair electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and structural issues as needed. Ensure compliance with all health, safety, and environmental regulations. Maintain records of maintenance schedules, repairs, and equipment performance. Coordinate with contractors, vendors, and suppliers for maintenance services and procurement of materials. Develop and implement preventive maintenance programs to reduce downtime and improve efficiency. Train and mentor maintenance staff, ensuring adherence to best practices and safety guidelines. Respond to emergency maintenance requests promptly and effectively.

Qualifications & Requirements:

Education:

High school diploma or equivalent (Technical certification or degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field is preferred).

Experience:

Not less than 5 years of experience in maintenance supervision, preferably in the construction industry.

Technical Skills:

Proficiency in troubleshooting and repairing construction-related equipment, electrical systems, plumbing, and HVAC systems.

Leadership Skills:

Proven ability to manage a team, assign tasks, and ensure productivity.

Knowledge of Safety Regulations:

Familiarity with OSHA standards, building codes, and workplace safety guidelines.

Communication Skills:

Strong verbal and written communication skills for effective coordination with team members, contractors, and management.

Problem-Solving Ability:

Quick thinking and problem-solving skills to address unexpected maintenance issues.

Preferred Qualifications:

Certification in facilities maintenance or a related trade. Experience working in commercial, industrial, or residential construction projects. Familiarity with Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS) is an advantage

Work Environment & Physical Requirements:

Ability to work in a construction environment, including exposure to outdoor weather conditions. Capability to lift heavy equipment, stand for long periods, and perform physically demanding tasks. Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends or emergency shifts when necessary.
