The Maintenance Supervisor will oversee and coordinate the maintenance activities in a manufacturing plant to ensure equipment reliability, minimize downtime, and support production efficiency. This role involves supervising a team of maintenance technicians, scheduling preventive maintenance, and ensuring compliance with safety and quality standards.Primary Responsibilities:Team Leadership:

• Supervise, mentor, and train a team of maintenance technicians.
• Assign daily tasks and monitor progress to ensure timely completion.

Equipment Maintenance:

• Plan, schedule, and execute preventive maintenance programs.
• Respond promptly to equipment breakdowns and ensure quick resolution.
• Monitor and maintain spare parts inventory to minimize downtime.

Compliance and Safety:

• Ensure all maintenance activities comply with safety, health, and environmental regulations.
• Conduct regular safety inspections and audits.
• Promote adherence to plant policies, including Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) and other safety protocols.

Operational Efficiency:

• Analyze equipment performance and implement improvements to enhance reliability and efficiency.
• Collaborate with production and quality teams to address equipment-related issues affecting product quality.
• Track and report key performance indicators (KPIs), including equipment downtime and maintenance costs.

Vendor and Contractor Management:

• Coordinate with external vendors and contractors for specialized repairs and services.
• Review and approve service contracts and purchase orders related to maintenance.

Documentation:

• Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, equipment manuals, and maintenance schedules.
• Ensure compliance with documentation requirements for audits and inspections.

Minimum Requirement:

• Bachelors degree in Engineering, Maintenance Management, or a related field preferred.
• Minimum of 6 years of experience in maintenance within a manufacturing environment, with at least 4 years in a supervisory role.
• Strong technical knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems.
• Familiarity with Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS).
• Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and maintenance-related software.
• Certification in Maintenance Management or relevant technical certifications (e.g., HVAC, PLC) is a plus.

Working Conditions:

• Work is primarily performed in a manufacturing plant environment with exposure to machinery noise and operational hazards.
