Job Description

Job Purpose: The incumbent is responsible for ensuring that the machinery used to produce new and existing materials and goods run to their maximum efficiency. Also, the incumbent is responsible for installing, maintaining and repairing exciting machines, follow the Preventative Maintenance schedule and work side to side with maintenance engineer to improve & develop maintenance procedure. Key Accountabilities: Attend to breakdowns, identify fault and problem solve, with minimal downtime to production Carry out diagnosis of faults, the maintenance and repairs to all production machines in a safe, timely and professional manner and return machines to operational service & report breakdown root causes, equipment faults and concerns to management Estimate length of time required to complete a job and likely consequences of failure to complete work within required timescales Carry out and follow the preventative maintenance schedule (daily, weekly, monthly) Ensure a safe working environment exists for self and colleagues, ensuring all health, safety environmental and quality management procedures are followed and achieve Work side by side with maintenance engineer to implement required modification to plant QHSE Responsibilities: Ensure compliance with all QHSE policies, procedures, legal requirements, and applicable quality, health, safety, and environmental regulations. Foster a safe and healthy working environment by adhering to company policies and industry standards. Participate in QHSE audits, risk assessments, and required training programs. Contribute to continuous improvement efforts to enhance quality and safety standards. Support environmental and safety initiatives aimed at minimizing risks and promoting sustainability. Regularly review and update processes to align with continuous improvement objectives. Actively engage in health, safety, and environmental training to ensure compliance and raise awareness across the organization. Job Requirements: Experience & Qualification High school diploma or equivalent Minimum 2 years of relevant experience preferably in a production related environment Knowledge & Skills Full knowledge in spare part, troubleshooting, maintenance work, and repairing of jaw and impact Crushers, screens, vibrator feeders, magnetic separator, and conveyors The knowledge in hydraulic system The knowledge in mechanical & hydraulic drawings Ability to coach, counsel and manage people Excellent verbal and written communication skills Communicate with clarity and demonstrate excellence in approach to work and people activities Excellent organization skills Excellent problem solving skills Ability to manage a wide variety of activities at the same time Fluency in written and spoken English #J-18808-Ljbffr
