Job Description

Qualifications:

- Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering or Automobile Engineering (preferred)

- 10+ years of experience managing maintenance departments in large factories within the UAE

- Proven leadership skills to effectively manage a diverse team, including mechanics, tire technicians, painters, dentures, fabricators, electricians, hydraulic technicians, foremen, and supervisors

- Capable of overseeing the repair and maintenance of factory equipment, heavy trucks, trailers, mixers, and other vehicles in a timely and cost-effective manner

- Open to candidates of any nationality; male candidates preferred

Key Responsibilities:

- Oversee daily operations of the workshop and maintenance team

- Develop and implement maintenance programs to maximize vehicle and machinery uptime

- Conduct regular inspections and audits to ensure compliance with safety and quality standards

- Coordinate repair schedules and manage inventory of parts and supplies, maintaining accurate maintenance records

- Collaborate with other departments to align maintenance activities with operational objectives

- Supervise vehicle registration, accident tracking, and insurance claims

- Implement strategies to reduce breakdowns and enhance overall reliability and safety for the plant and personnel
