Maintenance Manager with MEP, construction and Civil Engineering

Minimum - 10 years of experience

Maintain the entire facility, including the physical building structure, all mechanical, electrical, FLS, HVAC systems, and other related equipment in accordance with maintenance programs.

Verify completion of all routine maintenance and repairs, replacement, and renovation projects.

Liaises with suppliers and contractors to obtain correct supplies and to ensure proper implementation of contracts

Developing maintenance budgets, Negotiating and verifying maintenance contracts and supplier invoices.

Ensures that maintenance & repairs performed by contractors are executed in accordance with agreed health and safety policy, contracts, fees, or charges

Review all daily log books and highlight outstanding and recurring problems

Assesses manpower requirements

Follow prescribed safety procedures for personnel and equipment by Dubai Municipality standards and Civil Defense standards.

Requirements and skills

Min 10 years UAE experience as a maintenance manager.

Experience in planning maintenance operations.

Proficient in all aspects of building operations and facilities management

The ability to work independently with good interpersonal skills

A creative, practical, and pro-active approach to problem-solving

Attention to detail, ensuring maintenance tasks are not overlooked and minor site problems do not become major site problems

A proven ability to build, lead, and manage a team

An energetic and dynamic personality

Solid understanding of technical aspects of plumbing, carpentry, electrical systems etc.

A professional degree in the corresponding field

Valid Certified Maintenance Manager (CMM) will be a plus.
