Job Title: Maintenance In charge
Direct Report: General Manager
Objectives: To be able to have the fastest and easiest services to solve the problems of our guests issues with regard to maintenance. To ensure the fullest availability of productions, equipment needed, utilities, and other related facilities under the satisfactory conditions of quality, safety, and protection in our hotel.
Essential Duties / Key Responsibilities:
• You have to supervise the operation of any related matter to maintenance.
• Provide supervision, direction, leadership, and continuous training to the Staff and monitor their daily task.
• Brief your team every day and monitor the appearance and standards of performance of the staff.
• Ensure consistent, high level of customer service.
• Handling any guest or departmental issues with professionalism and confidence.
• Preparing and developing schedules and assignments for the Staff.
• Make sure all the issues from the hotel operations are noted, share the updates with the General Manager and all information must be accurate.
• You have to update the status of work and give proper feedback to the General Manager.
• Weekly attendance must be submitted to the HR Department on time. Make a proper arrangement for the maintenance schedule. If any changes are made to the schedule, inform by email to the HR Department.
• Discuss the problem with the upper management if the said task is difficult to solve.
• Don't delay the work and plan it accordingly.
• Conducting routine inspections of premises and equipment.
• All items, equipment, or any other materials must be organized in the store.
• Performing preventive maintenance.
• Handling repairs and maintenance.
• Handling renovation projects.
• Work closely alongside the team.
• Repairing machines, equipment, and other related works.
• Other duties will be supervised by your General Manager.
Guest Services:
• To ensure that all maintenance staff establish a good rapport with the guests.
• Identify and resolve guests' problems and complaints promptly, professionally and efficiently to ensure total guest satisfaction and quality service.
• Respond to customer needs and requests in a timely manner, therefore, ensuring outstanding customer care at all times.
General:
• Maintains a friendly, cheerful and courteous demeanor at all times.
• Participates in hotel committees and task force assignments.
• Assist all departments in servicing the guests during high volume periods; build strong relationships and liaise with all other departments, especially Housekeeping, Security and Reservations.
• To ensure that all maintenance staff have a complete understanding of and adhere to the hotels policy relating to Fire, Hygiene, Health and Safety.
• Ensures safety by following guest check in and security procedures and reporting suspicious activity to security, manager or MOD.
• Knowledgeable of all the updated products, services and facilities of the hotel.
• To report Lost and Found items, in accordance to the hotel's policies and procedures.
• Performs other duties as assigned, requested or deemed necessary by management.
Qualifications:
• 2-3 Years of hotel/resort experience in the supervisory level is must
• Fluency in English, Hindi, and additional languages are a plus
• Ability to perform under pressure

• Umm al-Quwain City: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Preferred)
