PSI Abu Dhabi is seeking a skilled and experienced Maintenance Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing the maintenance and repair of mechanical and electrical systems, ensuring all equipment and facilities operate efficiently and effectively. You will be expected to perform regular inspections, troubleshoot system issues, and implement proactive maintenance strategies to minimize downtime.

Key Responsibilities:

Conduct routine inspections and preventive maintenance on all mechanical, electrical, and HVAC systems to ensure optimal performance. Diagnose and troubleshoot issues with building systems, equipment, and machinery. Plan, schedule, and coordinate maintenance activities to minimize disruptions to operations. Oversee the repair and replacement of defective components and equipment in a timely manner. Manage and maintain accurate records of all maintenance activities, including repair logs and inventory. Work closely with contractors and external service providers to ensure high-quality maintenance services. Ensure compliance with all relevant health, safety, and environmental regulations. Develop and implement maintenance procedures and work instructions. Support in the installation, commissioning, and testing of new equipment and systems. Respond to emergency maintenance requests and resolve issues promptly. Participate in root cause analysis to prevent recurring technical problems. Monitor and analyze maintenance costs, suggest improvements, and manage the maintenance budget effectively.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field. Proven experience as a Maintenance Engineer or in a similar technical role. Strong knowledge of maintenance techniques, troubleshooting, and system analysis. Proficiency with maintenance management software and tools. Familiarity with safety protocols and building codes. Strong problem-solving and analytical skills. Excellent communication and team collaboration abilities. Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.

Preferred Skills:

Professional certifications such as PMP, Six Sigma, or other relevant maintenance qualifications. UAE-based experience or knowledge of local regulations and standards.
