: Job Summary:Apparel Group is looking for a detail-oriented and proactive Maintenance Coordinator to oversee the daily maintenance operations in Dubai. This role is crucial in ensuring a safe, functional, and well-maintained environment for all employees, handling repairs, inspections, vendor management, and compliance with building codes and safety standards. Key Responsibilities:
Building Maintenance Oversight: Conduct regular inspections and coordinate repairs for electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and other building systems to maintain optimal functionality.
Vendor Management: Liaise with contractors, vendors, and service providers to schedule maintenance work, negotiate service contracts, and ensure timely and cost-effective solutions.
Preventative Maintenance: Develop and implement a preventative maintenance schedule, reducing the need for reactive repairs and minimizing downtime.
Health & Safety Compliance: Ensure all building maintenance activities adhere to local health and safety regulations, fire safety codes, and company policies.
Inventory & Equipment Management: Maintain an inventory of tools, equipment, and supplies, managing reordering processes and coordinating equipment repairs or replacements.
Budget Management: Assist in budgeting for maintenance needs, monitoring expenses, and identifying cost-saving opportunities.
Reporting & Documentation: Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, including repairs, inspections, and vendor communications. Prepare regular reports on building conditions and maintenance costs.
Emergency Response: Respond promptly to emergency maintenance requests, coordinating repairs as needed to minimize disruptions.
Qualifications & Skills:
Diploma or certificate in Facilities Management, Building Maintenance, or a related field.
3+ years of experience in a maintenance or facilities coordination role, preferably in an office or commercial building environment.
Familiarity with building systems (electrical, HVAC, plumbing) and preventative maintenance practices.
Strong organizational and multitasking skills with attention to detail.
Ability to work with external vendors and manage contractor relationships effectively.
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and maintenance management software.
Knowledge of UAE building codes and health & safety regulations.
Problem-solving attitude with a strong commitment to ensuring a safe and comfortable workplace.
