Job Description
Responsibilities:
- Basic Healthcare Assistance: Utilize nursing skills to provide basic healthcare assistance, including monitoring vital signs, administering medications, and assisting with medical treatments as prescribed.
- Health Monitoring: Regularly assess and monitor the employer\'s health status, promptly reporting any changes or concerns to healthcare professionals or family members.
- First Aid: Be prepared to administer first aid in case of emergencies, applying nursing knowledge to address immediate healthcare needs.
- Nutritional Support: Plan and prepare nutritious meals in accordance with any dietary restrictions or medical requirements, promoting a healthy lifestyle.
- Mobility Assistance: Provide support with mobility, transfers, and exercises to maintain or improve the employer\'s physical well-being.
- Medication Management: Manage and organize medication schedules, ensuring timely administration and adherence to prescribed regimens.
- Health Education: Share relevant health information with the employer, offering guidance on maintaining a healthy lifestyle and managing any existing health conditions.
- Caring Companionship: Offer emotional support and companionship, recognizing the importance of mental well-being in overall health.
- Household Management: Perform light housekeeping duties, including cleaning, laundry, and organization, to create a safe and hygienic living environment.
- Nursing Background: Hold a nursing degree and maintain a valid nursing license.
- Experience: Have practical experience in nursing, preferably in a home care or caregiving setting.
- Compassion: Demonstrate a high level of compassion and empathy in providing care, understanding the unique needs and preferences of the employer.
- Communication Skills: Possess effective communication skills to interact with the employer, family members, and healthcare professionals.
- Adaptability: Be adaptable to the changing needs and conditions of the employer, adjusting care plans accordingly.
- Attention to Detail: Pay close attention to details, especially when it comes to healthcare tasks and managing medication regimens.
- First Aid Certification: Hold a valid first aid certification to respond effectively in emergency situations.
- Cultural Sensitivity: Understand and respect cultural differences, adapting care practices to meet the specific needs of the employer.
- Reliability: Be reliable and punctual in carrying out assigned duties and responsibilities.
