Job Description

Job Summary:

A Machine Operator is responsible for setting up, operating, and maintaining machinery used in the production process. The role requires technical expertise to ensure machines run efficiently, safely, and within quality standards. Candidates with a Diploma in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering are preferred.

Key Responsibilities:

Set up and operate machinery according to instructions and production schedules.

Monitor machine operations to detect malfunctions and make necessary adjustments.

Ensure machines run efficiently while maintaining product quality standards.

Conduct routine maintenance and cleaning of machines.

Diagnose mechanical and electrical issues and perform minor repairs.

Report major malfunctions to maintenance teams for resolution.

Inspect finished products for defects and ensure compliance with quality standards.

Record and report any inconsistencies or defects.

Follow safety protocols and ensure the work environment complies with safety regulations.

Use personal protective equipment (PPE) as required.

Participate in workplace safety training.

Maintain accurate records of machine operation, maintenance, and production output.

Report daily production status to supervisors.

Qualifications & Skills:

Fresh graduates / 1-2 yrs exp candidates with a Diploma in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering will be considered

Knowledge of machine operation, troubleshooting, and maintenance.

Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and manuals.

Experience with mechanical and electrical systems is an advantage.

Ability to work in a team and communicate effectively.

Strong time management and ability to meet production deadlines.
