Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

• Designing Couture Collections:
• Conceptualize and create exclusive couture designs, blending innovation with timeless elegance.
• Develop original sketches, mood boards, and samples reflecting high-end couture fashion trends.
• Specialization in Ethnic Designs:
• Design and execute ethnic outfits, including sarees, lehengas, sherwanis, and Indo-western ensembles.
• Integrate traditional techniques such as embroidery, zari work, and beadwork with modern aesthetics.
• Collection Development:
• Plan and develop seasonal collections based on market trends and client preferences.
• Oversee fabric selection, color palettes, and detailing for each design.
• Team Coordination:
• Work closely with production teams, tailors, and artisans to ensure precise execution of designs.
• Monitor quality control from initial concept to final garment delivery.

Key Skills & Competencies:

• Proficiency in couture and ethnic fashion design.
• Expertise in handwork techniques, such as zari, sequins, embroidery, and beadwork.
• Strong sketching and illustration skills, along with digital design proficiency (Adobe Illustrator, CorelDRAW, etc.).
• Excellent attention to detail and creativity.
• Ability to manage time efficiently and work under tight deadlines.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.

Qualifications:

• Degree or diploma in fashion design from a reputed institute, preferably NIFT (India).
• A portfolio showcasing extensive experience in couture and ethnic designs.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: AED8,000.00 - AED10,000.00 per month

Ability to commute/relocate:

• Al-Ayn: Reliably commute or willing to relocate with an employer-provided relocation package (Preferred)
