Description:

The blending Operator is responsible for monitoring and controlling the blending process of raw materials to create finished products. They must ensure that the correct proportions and quality of materials are used and that the process is carried out safely and efficiently.

Responsibilities

Blending and Quality Control:

• Weigh or measure materials, ingredients, or products to ensure conformance to requirements.
• Compound or process ingredients or dyes, according to formulas.
• Read work orders to determine production specifications or information.
• Observe production or monitor equipment to ensure safe and efficient operation.
• Mix or blend ingredients by starting machines and mixing for specified times.
• Add specified amounts of materials into machinery or equipment.
• Maintain housekeeping standards in the blending area and laboratory.
• Collect samples of materials or products for laboratory testing.
• Collect samples of base oils from tankers and confirm offloading into dedicated base oil tanks after laboratory approval.
• Operate or tend machines to mix or blend a wide variety of materials.
• Add or mix chemicals or ingredients for processing using hand tools or other devices.
• Stop mixing or blending machines when specified product qualities are obtained and open valves and start pumps to transfer mixtures.
• Perform quality checks of finished products in the laboratory in the presence of a senior blending operator or chemist.
• Report any inconsistencies in mixing and testing to the chemist.
• Coordinate with the chemist for flushing criteria before batch transfer.
• Properly report batch transfers to filling tanks in the group.
• Inspect all tanks and ensure proper handover to the next shift operator.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Basic understanding of blending and mixing processes.
• Attention to detail and ability to follow precise instructions.
• Strong communication skills for effective coordination with team members.
• Ability to perform tasks safely and efficiently.
• Basic knowledge of laboratory procedures and equipment is a plus.

Pay: AED1,500.00 - AED2,500.00 per month
