Job Description

Monitors and administers the safety, environmental and security programs/issues at an assigned exchange(s). Conducts internal inquiries involving incidents of pilferage, fraud, waste, abuse, misconduct, accidents, and other issues as determined by the Area Loss Prevention (LP) Manager. Conducts interviews, obtains written statements, prepares relevant case reports/files, and coordinates with police/courts on theft prosecutions. Conducts and/or supervises Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA), environmental, and loss prevention (LP) inspections/surveys. May be required to manage or assist in managing the Exchange Information and Personnel Security Program.

Job Qualifications Three years of loss prevention or four years of other management experience to include conducting investigations/audits, report writing, planning, and goal setting. Completion of the Loss Prevention Uniformed Training Plan (UTP) Level III required.

Or

Bachelor's degree in Business Management, Finance, Criminal Justice, or Retail Loss Prevention and loss prevention or retail management experience which includes conducting investigations/audits, report writing, planning, and goal setting. Completion of the Loss Prevention Uniformed Training Plan (UTP) Level III I required. Loss Prevention Uniformed Training Plan (UTP) Level III completion can be verified by any one of these training courses: 2007-Exchange Detective Certification, 2212 - Uniform Training Plan for SS specialists, 2220 - Uniform Training Plan - Exchange Detectives, 2261 - Exchange Detective Training, 2282 - Certification of Exchange Detective, 3157 - UTP Exchange Detective, 3158 - UTP Safety, and Security 3162 - UTP DR Safety and Security Spec/Tech 010U - UTP Loss Prevention Manager, 317S - Level 1 Certification 318S - Level 2 Certification, 319S - Level 3 Certification, 321S - Level 4 Certification, 322A - Level 5 Certification, and 323S - Level 6 Certification.

BUSINESS MANAGEMENT - Preferred CRIMINAL JUSTICE - Preferred FINANCE - Preferred

Additional Qualifications/Requirements Must be able to pass military medical requirements

Major Duties Conducts investigations including, but not limited to, theft, fraud, workplace violence, etc. Conducts Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA), environmental, and loss prevention (LP) inspections/surveys/systems management. Liaises with command, law enforcement, legal, and Exchange management on loss prevention (LP) activities. Provides training to associates including, but not limited to, new hires, profit protection, Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA), internal controls, etc. Oversees equipment management including, but not limited to, closed circuit television (CCTV) systems, electronic article surveillance (EAS), safety products, vehicles, etc. Performs other duties as assigned.
