This is an expansionary hire within a successful and fast-growing asset manager in Dubai. The firm is looking to hire a Long/Short Equity Analyst (5-8 years of experience) to report directly into an experienced Equity L/S PM running a book focused on US and Asia TMT and Consumer. The incoming analyst will need to have experience working on Consumer and/or Tech coverage across US or Asian markets. Experience generating both long and short trade ideas is required, preferably within a market neutral setting on the buy-side. The selected candidate must have a strong track record of trade idea generation (long and short ideas) within global Tech or Consumer and will ideally come from a buy-side background. The investment team is world-class and the firm has an excellent culture. As the role is based in Dubai, our client would be open to speaking with candidates from a wide range of global financial hubs, provided they are happy to relocate to the region full-time. Requirements:
- 5-8 years of investment experience, including Long/Short experience, preferably in a market neutral setting
- Strong sector knowledge of the TMT and Consumer space, looking at US and Asian markets
- Quantitative and qualitative analytcial capabilities
- Excellent communication skills, both written and oral
