Purpose of the JobThe Outbound Operations Manager will be responsible for overseeing the daily outbound operations, ensuring efficient and timely processing of client shipments. This role requires a strong focus on productivity, staff management, and operational excellence. The ideal candidate will have experience in supervising teams, managing processes, and delivering high-quality service in a fast-paced environment.Operational Management:
Prepare, update, and submit monthly reports on metrics and productivity measurements.
Identify and address performance-related issues to prevent delays and operational losses.
Efficiently manage Special Equipment Requests from clients, ensuring timely fulfillment.
Coordinate, organize, and supervise staff and shift patterns for seamless operations.
Ensure all shipment requests are closed within a 48-hour timeframe.
Oversee and manage stock counts, including daily cycle counts.
Monitor quality checks and validate shipments to meet client standards.
Collaborate with Inbound, Inventory, and Control Tower teams to resolve customer queries.
Analyze daily and monthly operational reports for continuous improvement.
Ensure timely maintenance of Material Handling Equipment (MHE) and other operational tools.
Team Leadership:
Lead, direct, and supervise a team of Outbound Operations Team Members.
Conduct timely performance appraisals following the global process.
Set Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and ensure team targets are met.
Plan and manage staff vacation schedules to maintain balanced workload.
Train and develop team members to consistently achieve high performance.
Provide guidance, support, and task delegation based on individual team member strengths.
Foster open communication, encouraging idea sharing and collaboration within the team.
Offer continuous feedback and regular updates to support team development.
Monitor customer support processes, ensuring service quality aligns with KPIs.

Proven working experience as an Outbound Operations Supervisor.
Record of successful distribution and logistics management.
Demonstrable ability to lead and manage staff.
Proficient in standard logistics software.
Excellent analytical, problem solving and organizational skills.
Ability to work independently and handle multiple projects.
Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, Word, and Outlook.
