JOB ROLE: PHARMACEUTICAL LOGISTIC SPECIALIST
Roles and Responsibilities o
• Regulatory Knowledge : Maintain up-to-date knowledge of shipping regulations and compliance requirements for the pharmaceutical industry.
• Import Permits: Manage Primary and Secondary import permit applications via the MOHAP online portal.
• Platform Proficiency: Utilize and maintain knowledge of platforms such as Brand Sync, Tatmeen, Trace Link, and MOHAP for import/export procedures.
• Serialization & Aggregation: Ensure compliance with Serialization and aggregation activities according to UAE Ministry of Health guidelines.
• Temperature Control: Oversee the temperature-controlled import of perishable pharmaceutical products, ensuring compliance with GCC regulations.
• Shipping Coordination: To optimize efficiency, schedule, and coordinate all inbound and outbound shipments.
• Tender Management: Familiarity with the tendering and supply processes for pharmaceuticals with agencies such as RAFED, MOH, DHA, DOH, DM, Dubai Police, and other government entities.
• Transportation Arrangements: Arrange transportation and prepare documentation to meet all export/import requirements, including customs clearance.
• Shipping Reports: Create and maintain reports on shipping activities, tracking shipments, and compiling shipping volume and rates statistics.
• Vendor Coordination: Work with shipping companies to arrange for the transport of goods across international borders, ensuring compliance with all regulations. Discrepancy Resolution: Investigate and resolve discrepancies related to invoices, orders, and shipments.
• Cost Monitoring: Monitor freight costs, negotiate rates with vendors, and ensure cost-effectiveness in logistics operations.
• Technology Adoption: Keep abreast of new technologies and automated systems to enhance logistics efficiency.
• Communication: Liaise with internal regulatory departments and customers to ensure effective communication and coordination of shipping schedules.
• Safety Compliance: Adhere to all safety protocols and company policies related to logistics operations.
• Inventory Management: Maintain records of inventory levels and assist in purchasing new inventory with guidance from the DGM.
• Accounting Suppo rt: Track shipments and inventory for accounting purposes.
Desired Candidate Profile
• Education: Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
• Experience: Minimum of 5 years of experience in shipping or logistics, with at least 3 years specifically in pharmaceutical import/export.
• Technical Skills: Proficient with order management software and systems.
• Organizational Skills: Strong organizational skills and attention to detail with the ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
• Communication : Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: AED7,000.00 - AED10,000.00 per month

Experience:
• Logistic Specialist - Brand Sync, Tatmeen and MOHAP: 5 years (Preferred)
