: Logistics and Procurement OfficerWe are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Logistics and Procurment Coordinator to join our company. As a company specializing in all types of carpets, rubber flooring, wood , parquet , vinyl ,decking,carpet tiles ,fabrics, curtains, accessories, office furniture, lighting , rugs etc sourced from China, Turkey, Europe, and the US, we require an individual who is well-versed in end-to-end logistics processes and procurement strategies. The successful candidate will play a vital role in optimizing our operational efficiency and cost-effectiveness by developing and implementing strategic procurement and logistics plans aligned with company objectives.Responsibilities:
Oversee and coordinate import/export activities, including shipping and air freight operations.
Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and requirements governing customs procedures.
Facilitate the documentation and paperwork necessary for international shipments, including customs declarations.
Identify and cultivate freight forwarders specific to each country to establish an efficient and cost-effective logistics supply chain, fostering a robust supply chain and optimizing logistical operations.
Establish and maintain strong relationships with key suppliers, negotiating contracts and terms to ensure favorable pricing, quality, and on-time delivery.
Collaborate with internal teams and external partners to streamline logistics processes and optimize efficiency.
Monitor shipment schedules, track shipments, and address any issues or delays that may arise.
Maintain accurate records of shipments, customs documentation, and other logistics-related information.
Stay informed about changes in import/export regulations and industry trends to ensure compliance and best practices.
Provide excellent customer service and support to internal stakeholders and external partners throughout the logistics process.
Monitor inventory levels and implement inventory management strategies to optimize stock levels and minimize holding costs.Prepare all documentations such as purchase orders (PO), supplier invoices, and inventory forms accurately and in a timely manner.Requirements:Bachelor\'s degree in business administration, supply chain management, logistics, or a related field.Proven work experience as a Logistics and Purchase Coordinator or a similar role in the flooring furnishings industry is highly preferred.In-depth knowledge of end-to-end logistics processes and procurement strategies.Strong negotiation skills with the ability to establish and maintain relationships with suppliers.Excellent communication.
