Our client, a prominent name in manufacturing of Petro Chemical products is looking to hire a Logistics Pricing Specialist for their office based in UAE.

Job Responsibilities:

• Should be an experienced veteran with knowledge of Shipping Lines, NVOCCs, ISO TANK OPERATORS/Freight forwarder companies active in the region.
• He should be able to identify key contract holders from main liners for Space bookings and commercially be very strong for negotiation.
• Should have worked in the same capacity in his last role as the pricing manager for any freight forwarder/shipping line/exporter/manufacturer.
• Should have knowledge on Pricing mechanism or freight negotiations with Main liners/ Slots/ Negotiation and fixing of Local charges from Both Main shipping lines and NVOCCs for Both Import and Export bookings.
• Should have also work experience in Pricing and Selection of Vendors of LAND TRANSPORT to neighboring countries like SAUDI/JORDAN/EGYPT/KUWAIT/QATAR with knowledge on Trailer and Chemicals Transports/Border Charges/Documentation requirements/Customs Clearance etc.
• Should be able to Analyze costs, transportation expenses, and market fluctuations to ensure pricing and enhance profitability, and report cost comparison to the management.
• Should be able to generate the pricing index on monthly basis for the key destination and maintain good relationship with the vendors for achieving priority services.
• Should be able to reconcile the billing received from vendors and check the contracts and approve the payments on timely manner.
• Work cross-functionally with sales, marketing, and finance to align pricing with business objectives and communicate changes effectively.
• Main Areas of Import: China/Taiwan/INDIA/PAKISTAN.
• Main Areas of EXPORT: AFRICA/PAK/GCC Countries/EU/USA.

Education:

Any Bachelor`s Degree

Experience: 2 to 5 years\xe2\x80\x99 experience in pricing for sea/land freight.

Salary: AED 5000 \xe2\x80\x93 8000

Working Hours / Days: 9 hours / 6 days a week

Job Location: Sharjah, Dubai or Ras Al Khaimah
