Logistics Manager

We are Looking for a Logistics Manager for one of our clients based in UAE.

Title: Logistics Manager

Location : Dubai, UAE Key Responsibilities: - Take a proactive approach in overseeing international accounts, emphasizing order placement, inventory management, and coordinating logistics for exporting food and agribusiness products via containers. - Collaborate with shipping lines/NVOCCs and service providers to ensure efficient execution of bookings and timely transaction completion. - Handle export documentation for various accounts within strict timelines. - Manage communication channels with suppliers, shippers, customers, and internal teams to relay accurate information. - Secure necessary export certificates from government agencies for shipment compliance. - Ensure adherence to customs, export, foreign trade laws, and federal transport regulations. - Initiate timely invoicing and collaborate with the accounting department for accurate billing. - Identify logistical risks and opportunities for cost-effective and safe transportation of products. - Manage freight claims, customer complaints, compliance reviews, and database maintenance.

**Requirements:** - Demonstrable 5plus years of logistics experience, with a focus on ocean container exports and freight forwarding. - Strong critical thinking skills, attention to detail, and ability to manage multiple priorities effectively. - Exceptional verbal and written communication skills. - Proficient in Excel with some knowledge of freight software. - Solid negotiation and problem-solving abilities, adept at working under time constraints. - Comfortable working in a fast-paced, dynamic work environment.
