We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Logistics Manager to oversee and streamline our logistical operations within the furniture business. The ideal candidate will possess strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and a deep understanding of logistics processes. Responsibilities:
- Manage the entire logistics operation, including inventory management, warehousing, transportation, and distribution of furniture products.
- Develop and implement efficient logistics strategies to optimize inventory levels, minimize costs, and improve delivery times.
- Coordinate with suppliers, manufacturers, and transportation companies to ensure timely delivery of raw materials and finished products.
- Negotiate contracts and agreements with logistics service providers to secure favourable terms and pricing.
- Monitor and analyse key performance indicators (KPIs) to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions as needed.
- Oversee the maintenance and upkeep of Factory, ensuring compliance with safety standards and regulations.
- Lead and motivate a team of logistics staff, providing training, guidance, and performance feedback.
- Stay updated with current industry trends, developments, and best practices in logistics and supply chain management.
- Bachelor\'s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field. (Master\'s degree preferred)
- Proven experience in logistics management, preferably within the furniture or retail industry.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to make data-driven decisions.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Proficiency in logistics Zoho software and systems.
- Demonstrated leadership abilities, with a track record of successfully managing teams and projects.
- Knowledge of regulatory requirements and compliance standards related to logistics operations.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced and dynamic environment, with a strong sense of urgency and accountability.
- Ajman: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Preferred)
