Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

• Export and Import Documentation:
• Prepare and review export and import documentation (e.g., invoices, packing lists, bills of lading, certificates of origin, etc.).
• Ensure all documents are completed accurately and comply with international trade regulations and requirements.
• Logistics Coordination:
• Coordinate with freight forwarders, customs brokers, and shipping companies to ensure timely and cost-effective transportation of goods.
• Track shipments, monitor delivery schedules, and resolve any issues related to delays or damages.
• Customs Compliance:
• Ensure compliance with customs regulations, including the preparation of necessary import/export declarations and tariff classifications.
• Work with customs authorities to ensure timely clearance of goods and resolve any customs-related issues.
• Supplier and Customer Communication:
• Maintain communication with suppliers, manufacturers, and customers regarding shipment schedules, order fulfillment, and any issues or changes.
• Provide timely updates to customers on the status of their orders and shipments.
• Inventory and Stock Management:
• Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with procurement teams to ensure the availability of goods for import/export.
• Maintain accurate records of goods being imported or exported, ensuring proper stock management.
• Cost Management:
• Negotiate rates with logistics providers, freight forwarders, and customs brokers to ensure competitive pricing.
• Prepare cost estimates for international shipments, including duties, taxes, and shipping fees.
• Regulatory Research and Compliance:
• Stay up-to-date with international trade regulations, import/export tariffs, and customs procedures.
• Ensure that the company adheres to all legal requirements related to international trade and logistics.
• Reporting and Record Keeping:
• Maintain records of all transactions, shipments, and customs documentation for auditing and compliance purposes.
• Prepare regular reports on export/import activities, shipment statuses, and any issues that may arise.
• Problem Resolution:
• Address any issues related to product quality, delays, customs clearance, or delivery discrepancies in a timely manner.
• Work to resolve problems while minimizing impact on customer satisfaction and business operations.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in International Business, Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or related field.
• Proven experience (5 years) in export/import operations, customs procedures, and international shipping.
• In-depth knowledge of international trade regulations, tariff codes, and documentation.
• Strong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
• Proficiency in using export-import management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Attention to detail and excellent organizational skills.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: AED3,500\.00 - AED4,000\.00 per month

• Logistics: 4 years (Required)
