Education & Qualifications:
Bachelor\'s degree in Business Administration, or similar;
Minimum of 5 years working experience in the import/export industry;
Preferably experience in food/FMCG trading;

Currently residing in UAE or GCC;

Description As the Logistics Executive, you will be coordinating and handling the supply chain part of the trading deal your colleague has made. There is a Logistics & Documentation Assistant in place to support with paperwork.Main responsibilities:
Scrutinize sales and purchase contracts issued for/by customers/suppliers;
Understand bulk and break-bulk shipments;
Coordinate & negotiate with independent surveyors and appointment of the surveyors;
Lead customer service, execution & documentation of import/export/cross trade movements- timely execution of contracts;
Follow-up import collection documents with suppliers/banks for timely retrieval in our hands;
Ensure immediate presentation of export collection documents & oversee the delivery of documents to the destination country;
Compliance and familiarity with destination country requirements with respect to documentation or shipping arrangements;
Update Track On (internal system) for new & existing shipment schedules with ETD/ETAs;
Coordinate with finance & overseas teams to understand corrective actions affecting business cash flow;
Regular monitoring of open contracts, invoiced or un-invoiced shipments and linking respective purchase & sales contracts;
Monitor accounts receivables and follow up with customers for realization of due/overdue invoices;
As instructed/guided progressively, once in the role.
