- Coordinate and oversee the procurement of materials and supplies necessary for operations.
- Develop and implement effective transportation planning strategies to ensure timely delivery of products.
- Manage order fulfillment processes, ensuring accuracy and efficiency in stock management.
- Collect and analyze data related to logistics operations to identify areas for improvement.
- Collaborate with third-party logistics providers (3PL) and Non-Vessel Operating Common Carriers (NVOCC) to streamline shipping processes.
- Monitor inventory levels and assist in materials management to prevent stock shortages or overages.
- Negotiate pricing with suppliers and transporters to optimize costs while maintaining service quality.
- Maintain accurate records of shipments, inventory levels, and logistics activities.
- Proven experience in logistics coordination or a related field is preferred.
- Strong understanding of transportation planning and order fulfillment processes.
- Proficiency in SQL for data analysis and reporting purposes is a plus.
- Familiarity with materials management principles and practices.
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Strong analytical skills for effective data collection and problem-solving.
- Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams and external partners.
- Effective communication skills, both written and verbal, to convey information clearly.
