The Logistics Coordinator will oversee and manage the transportation, distribution, and storage of materials and equipment within OGI. This role involves coordinating with various stakeholders, including suppliers, vendors, and internal teams, to ensure timely and cost-effective delivery of goods. The ideal candidate will possess strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and a deep understanding of the logistics needs specific to the oil and gas industry.
Key Responsibilities:
• Logistics Management:
• Plan, coordinate, and oversee the transportation and delivery of materials, equipment, and supplies.
• Develop and implement logistics strategies to ensure efficient and cost-effective operations.
• Supply Chain Coordination:
• Collaborate with suppliers, vendors, and internal departments to ensure the timely and accurate fulfillment of orders.
• Monitor inventory levels and manage stock to prevent shortages and delays.
• Documentation and Compliance:
• Prepare and maintain accurate shipping and receiving documentation, including bills of lading, shipping manifests, and customs paperwork.
• Ensure compliance with industry regulations, safety standards, and company policies.
• Problem-Solving and Troubleshooting:
• Address and resolve any logistical issues or delays promptly.
• Implement solutions to optimize logistics processes and improve efficiency.
• Reporting and Analysis:
• Monitor and report on key logistics metrics, including transportation costs, delivery times, and inventory levels.
• Analyze data to identify trends and areas for improvement.
• Stakeholder Communication:
• Serve as the primary point of contact for all logistics-related inquiries.
• Communicate effectively with internal teams, clients, and external partners to ensure alignment and satisfaction.
