Transfer Order Creation: Create transfer orders from all Eastern Winery production facilities to central buffers, including tracking of Direct Store Delivery (DSD).
Inventory Management: Print inventory count sheets and work with stockpersons to reconcile inventories daily, ensuring FIFO (First In, First Out) is followed.
Order Coordination: Coordinate pick releases and print pick slips for each delivery day by customer and carrier.
Logistics Coordination: Organize and coordinate the supply, storage, and distribution of the companys goods, serving as support between departments, customers, and carriers.
Communication: Timely communication of load requirements both externally and internally to key stakeholders.
Data Analysis: Perform data analysis, report performance, identify logistical problems, and assist in creating improvement plans.
Customer Issue Resolution: Assist in investigating and resolving all delivery concerns raised by the Sales and Retail Departments to ensure customer satisfaction is maintained or improved per SLAs.
Reporting: Monitor and report warehouse pick accuracy and rate, as well as on-time carrier performance by warehouse and customer.
Inventory Movement: Oversee inventory movement under the direction of the Logistics Supervisor, including Return Material Authorizations (RMAs) and sub-transfers.
VQA Processing: Process VQA (Vintners Quality Alliance) requirements for sub-inventory movements such as Sales Hold and Bottle Aging.
Administrative Support: Provide administrative support to the East Logistics Team as required.
Inspections: Perform and document all quantity and quality inspections under the direction of the Logistics Supervisor.
Customer Service: Provide and strive for excellent internal and external customer service.
ERP Management: Handle miscellaneous receipts/distribution of equipment and materials into Oracle ERP system.
Physical Counts: Support physical counts at various locations throughout the region as required.
HACCP Documentation: Track and file all HACCP (Hazard Analysis Critical Control Point) required documents for the Logistics Department.
Meetings: Attend all required meetings as directed by the Logistics Supervisor.
Safety Compliance: Follow all safe work procedures and practices, reporting any unsafe conditions or hazards to the Logistics Supervisor.
Warehouse Support: Support the warehousing and production teams by assisting with picking/packaging orders as needed.
Miscellaneous Duties: Perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements:
Education: Post-secondary education in Production/Manufacturing or Business Administration preferred.
Order Processing: Able to manage large volumes of order processing, measured by order fulfillment and customer satisfaction.
Technical Skills: Proficient in the use of computers, Microsoft Office, and ERP systems.
Communication Skills: Strong oral and written communication skills.
Independence and Pace: Ability to work independently and thrive in a fast-paced environment.
Physical Ability: Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs, bend, stoop, stand, and pull as required.
Flexibility: Ability to work a flexible schedule, including opening and closing the warehouse at the start or end of the workday.
