In accordance with the L&S responsibility matrix:
• Organizes the transportation of goods from suppliers in the UAE (free zones and mainland) for delivery to the DWC warehouse.
• Communicates with suppliers regarding shipping documents, checks shipping documents for errors and discrepancies.
• Handles customs formalities (processing BOE in Dubai Trade or transferring documents to customs brokers).
• Maintains records of incoming and outgoing goods in compliance with Dubai Customs and DWC requirements.
• Works in the Dubai Trade portal with authorized authorities and organizations.
• Populates a database with photographs of motor oils in the network folder uae-fs-01.lns.localUAEGroupSharedFoldersLogisticsEngine_Oil.
• Monitors warehouse operations related to preparing goods batches for clients, sorting, repackaging, etc.
• Controls the volume of ready-to-ship goods in the ERP system, coordinates shipments with clients, and organizes the dispatch of goods batches.
• Ensures supervision of warehouse staff, checks the availability of necessary materials for warehouse operations (excluding items for sale).
• Handles claims related to damaged goods within their responsibility zone, especially if damage results from poor packaging or handling.
• Maintains order in the warehouse, oversees storage zones, and organizes workstations.
• Gathers warehouse staff requirements for warehouse management software (WMS) development and communicates them to the IT department.
• Monitors the correct use of warehouse management software (WMS), making adjustments to employee work as needed to comply with WMS logic and rules.
• Keeps track of expenses related to warehouse operations and forwards them for payment to the finance department.
• During the vacation period of logistics specialists, may perform functions related to transporting goods from suppliers to the UAE warehouse.

• General Procedures for Moving Imported Goods through Other Countries via Customs Transit:
• Customs Operations Procedures in Dubai Free Zones (DWC and Jafza):
• Procedure for Filling out BOE (Bill of Entry) in Dubai Trade and Submitting All Documents to Dubai Customs:
• Control and reporting procedures for the movement of goods through the DWC and Jafza warehouses.
• Import and Export of Goods from Dubai Free Zones:
• Main Types of Containers:
• 20-foot, 40-foot, 45-foot, high cube, opentop.
• Maximum weight characteristics for loading containers, pallet quantities, and internal volumes.
• Container Usage Procedures:
• Loading containers, free usage period, fees for exceeding the free usage period, and container return process.
• Types of Pallets:
• Euro pallets, American or Canadian pallets, non-standard pallets.
• Knowledge of packaging types, stacking capabilities, maximum load in rows (including motor oil).
• Restrictions on transporting hazardous or partially hazardous goods by specific modes of transport (e.g., aviation transport prohibits transporting motor oil).
• General Information on Trademarks, SKUs (Stock Keeping Units), Materials, and Goods.
• List of Documents Required for Shipping Goods to Different Countries:
• Invoice, packing list, bill of lading, export declaration, bill of entry, certificate of origin, compliance declaration, compliance certificate, MSDS (Material Safety Data Sheet), certificate of analysis.
• Knowledge of different types of bills of lading: bill of lading, seawaybill, feeder bill of lading, house bill of lading, telex release.
• Ability to Assess Risks in Transporting Specific Goods through Specific Territories and When Verifying Accompanying Documents.
• Basic Information on the Harmonized System of Goods Codes for Foreign Economic Activity:
• Organization and purpose of the system.
• Import and Export Customs Procedures:
• When and how they are used, restrictions on goods, and post-procedure movement requirements.
