We are seeking an organized and detail-oriented Logistics and Transport Coordinator to oversee the transportation and logistical operations of our company. The ideal candidate will manage the flow of personnel and goods, ensuring prompt delivery through optimized routes. The Logistics and Transport Coordinator will work closely with various departments to streamline processes and maintain efficient supply chain operations. Key Responsibilities:
Coordinate the transportation of personnel and goods from suppliers to warehouses and distribution centers, ensuring timely delivery and adherence to quality standards.
Plan and optimize transportation routes to minimize costs and maximize efficiency.
Monitor shipment status and track deliveries to ensure timely arrivals.
Liaise with suppliers, carriers, and freight forwarders to schedule pickups and deliveries.
Maintain accurate records of transportation activities, including documents, invoices, and delivery receipts.
Resolve any transportation-related issues or delays in a timely manner.
Collaborate with warehouse and inventory teams to ensure proper stock levels and inventory management.
Continuously evaluate transportation processes and recommend improvements to enhance efficiency and reduce costs.
Stay updated on industry regulations and compliance requirements related to transportation and logistics.
Assist in the development and implementation of logistics strategies to support company objectives.
Qualifications:
Bachelors degree in Logistics, Business Administration, or related field.
Proven experience in logistics coordination and transportation management.
