  • Plans shipping schedule and executes shipping for FCL, LCL, Airfreight and Courier shipments.
  • Responsible for ensuring correctness & completion of shipping documents and dispatch of shipping documents to other countries.
  • Coordinates with suppliers, 3PLs, customers to ensure competitive rates, timeliness of delivery and ensure complete shipping documents are provided.
  • Source new suppliers / forwarders and request for ad-hoc quotations.
  • Conducts RFQs for long term agreements with Freight Forwarders, Courier, Local transportation companies.
  • Do data analysis and comparison of bids from 3PLs / courier companies and recommend award.
  • Issues purchase orders or contracts to awarded suppliers. - Monitors order readiness, tracks shipments and provide shipment visibility to customers.
  • Checks 3PL, Courier invoices and executes billing for customers.
  • Ensures customs / government compliance on shipping documentation.
  • Does records management and provides necessary shipping documents for VAT purposes.
  • Manages shipping process for claims.
  • Reports cost savings and deliver KPI targets
Mobility needs you
  • Minimum 3 years experience in the field of logistics, handling inbound / outbound shipping documents, import/export customs clearances.
  • Bachelor\'s Degree in Logistics, Supply Chain, Engineering or other related courses
  • Knowledge in SAP and Advanced Excel is a must. - Experience in sourcing, shipping, procurement and contracting is preferred.
  • Understands shipping terms, customs rules & regulations in Middle East, Europe & China.
  • Experience in handling Letters of Credit, Shipping documentation, TRA approvals, Dubai Chamber, MOFA among others.
  • Ability to closely coordinate between suppliers, freight forwarders, customs brokers and customers.
  • Detail oriented, analytical thinker, customer-focused and quality driven.
