The Logistic Coordinator is responsible for coordinating and managing the day-to-day operations of the logistics department. This includes planning shipments, tracking orders, overseeing inventory levels, and ensuring timely delivery of goods. The role requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously. Key Responsibilities: Shipment Coordination: \xc2\xb7 Plan and schedule inbound and outbound shipments. \xc2\xb7 Coordinate with suppliers, freight forwarders, and transport companies. \xc2\xb7 Ensure compliance with shipping regulations and company policies. Order Management: \xc2\xb7 Track and monitor orders to ensure timely delivery. \xc2\xb7 Update customers on shipment status and address any delivery issues. \xc2\xb7 Maintain accurate records of shipments, receipts, and returns. Inventory Management: \xc2\xb7 Monitor and maintain inventory levels to meet demand. \xc2\xb7 Conduct regular inventory audits and reconcile discrepancies. \xc2\xb7 Work with the warehouse team to optimize storage and handling procedures. Documentation and Reporting: \xc2\xb7 Prepare and manage shipping documentation, including bills of lading, invoices, and packing lists. \xc2\xb7 Generate and analyze reports on shipping and inventory metrics. \xc2\xb7 Maintain accurate and up-to-date records in the logistics management system. Supplier and Customer Relations: \xc2\xb7 Develop and maintain positive relationships with suppliers and customers. \xc2\xb7 Negotiate shipping rates and contracts with carriers. \xc2\xb7 Resolve any issues or discrepancies related to shipments and deliveries. Compliance and Safety: \xc2\xb7 Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations, including customs and import/export laws. \xc2\xb7 Implement and monitor safety procedures for handling and transporting goods. \xc2\xb7 Stay updated on industry best practices and regulatory changes. Qualifications: \xc2\xb7 Education: Bachelor\xe2\x80\x99s degree in logistics, supply chain management, business administration, or related field. \xc2\xb7 Experience: Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in logistics, supply chain, or related roles. Skills: \xc2\xb7 Strong organizational and multitasking abilities. \xc2\xb7 Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. \xc2\xb7 Proficiency in logistics management software and Microsoft Office Suite. \xc2\xb7 Analytical mindset with attention to detail. \xc2\xb7 Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
