Job Description

We are seeking a skilled and experienced LMV Driver to join our team.

Driving Safely and Responsibly: Obeying traffic laws and regulations to ensure safe operation of the vehicle at all times.

Vehicle Maintenance: Ensuring that the vehicle is in good condition by conducting regular inspections, such as checking fuel, oil, water, and tire pressure.

Route Planning: Familiarizing oneself with the routes and locations to efficiently transport passengers or goods to their destinations.

Customer Service: Providing courteous and professional service to passengers or clients, if applicable.

Adherence to Schedule: Following schedules and timelines, especially if working in a transportation or delivery capacity.

Documentation: Maintaining accurate records of mileage, fuel consumption, and any incidents that may occur during driving.

Communication: Effectively communicating with supervisors, colleagues, or clients as needed.

Emergency Procedures: Knowing how to respond in case of emergencies such as accidents or breakdowns, including administering basic first aid if necessary and contacting emergency services.

Compliance with Regulations: Adhering to all UAE traffic laws, as well as any specific regulations or guidelines set by employers or authorities.

Professionalism: Presenting oneself in a professional manner, including personal grooming and attire if dealing directly with clients or passengers.

Environmental Awareness: Being conscious of environmental impact by driving responsibly and economically.

Security Awareness: Ensuring the security of passengers, goods, or personal belongings, depending on the nature of the driving role. These responsibilities are crucial to ensure not only personal safety but also the safety and satisfaction of passengers, clients, or employers. In the UAE, where driving conditions and regulations may differ from other countries, drivers are expected to be familiar with local laws and norms to operate vehicles legally and responsibly.

Qualifications:

Valid UAE driver's license appropriate for light motor vehicles (typically Category 3).

Clean driving record with no history of traffic violations. Knowledge of UAE roads, routes, and traffic regulations.

Ability to read maps, follow GPS directions, and navigate efficiently. Physical stamina to handle long hours of driving and loading/unloading if required.

Skills:

Safe driving skills and knowledge of defensive driving techniques.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Time management and organizational abilities.

Attention to detail and ability to handle paperwork accurately.

Flexibility and adaptability to varying schedules or changes in routes.

Education and Experience:

High school diploma or equivalent. Previous UAE experience as a light motor vehicle driver preferred. Familiarity with basic vehicle maintenance and troubleshooting.

Pay: AED2,000.00 - AED2,500.00 per month
