Job Summary:

We are looking for a talented and creative

Live Baker

to prepare fresh cakes, pastries, and customized baked goods at our supermarket counter. The ideal candidate should have excellent baking skills, maintain an attractive display, interact with customers, and contribute to achieving sales targets.

Key Responsibilities:

Bake a variety of cakes, pastries, and desserts live at the counter to attract customers. Decorate and customize cakes as per customer requests, including themed and special occasion cakes. Maintain an appealing and well-stocked display to maximize sales. Train and guide subordinates in baking, decorating, and customer service. Ensure proper storage, inventory control, and restocking of ingredients. Maintain cleanliness and follow hygiene and food safety standards. Innovate and suggest new flavors or product ideas based on market trends.

Requirements:

Proven experience as a baker, pastry chef, or cake decorator. Expertise in baking cakes, pastries, and customized cake decoration. Strong creativity and attention to detail for custom designs. Sales and customer service skills to boost revenue. Ability to train and supervise junior staff. Knowledge of food safety and hygiene regulations.
