Job Description

Provides guest and in-house service as well as supervision, direction and leadership in the department. Establishing and maintaining personally challenging achievement goals and exerting effort towards mastering tasks. To assist the Laundry Manager to ensure the department runs smoothly on a daily basis and to high standard of Rooms, F&B, and Spa Gym clean linen quality service to the guests at all times.
Functional Accountabilities

To assist the Laundry Manager to ensure the department runs smoothly on a daily basis and to high standard of Rooms, F&B, and Spa Gym clean linen quality service to the guests at all times.
Functional Accountabilities
- To check the linen and pantry areas to ensure the smooth flow of the guest supplies, fresh linen for the next day ready.
- To inspect the linen sorting area for soiled linen received from linen chute areas (hotel).
- To maintain a proper record of all soiled & fresh linen up to dates record from external laundry In/Out.
- To move trolleys from scale on to the ramp to be loaded in to receiving areas.
- Receives, sorts and double-checks conditions of the linen records all outgoing and incoming from external laundry thoroughly before storing and issuing.
- Sort out received items in separate trolleys as per items classifications.
- Help to maintain the linen store, by keeping it clean and tidy at all times.
- Comply with company policy regarding waste separation and environmental compliance.
- Examines laundered items to ensure cleanliness and serviceability.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
- Laundry experience is a plus
- Minimum of 2 year experience in a similar capacity
- Physically fit
- Excellent listening skills
- Goes the extra mile where possible
- Positive Attitude
- Knowledgeable in All type of Fabrics
- Knowledgeable in use of Linen segregated as per items.
- Knowledgeable in use of Laundry Machineries & Chemicals
- Knowledgeable in use of Laundry Spotting Chemicals
