Key responsibilities & duties

• Manually handle the deliveries in truck. For light weighing deliveries will manage by self, no helper will be provided. However, for heavier deliveries helper (s) will be provided.
• The working hours starts at 5.30am and the duty could be straight shift or split shift as desired by the load of work in the company. Duty comprises of 9 working hours plus 1 hour lunch break. Rest hours in the afternoon are not considered part of the duty hours and break shifts may not be eligible for OT.
• Experience in driving van & 3 TON pickup is mandatory.
• Willing to purchase regular items from local market as per orders.
• Transporting employees both staffs and workers to/from employee accommodation to/from project sites as per the company requirement.
• Take responsibility to tie the belt to clamp down the materials loaded in the truck.
• Be responsible of the vehicle they use, and the maintenance is to be informed on timely manner.
• Handle of material or paperwork to and from clients and suppliers.
• Handle delivery and collection of payment to clients and suppliers.
• Obtains customers signature or collects payment for services.
• You not allowed to give lift to other drivers for any purpose without the management's permission.
• Responsible for the cleanliness and maintenance of the vehicle you are responsible for, and an additional person shall not be provided for the same.
• Use navigation applications to determine the best route to avoid time wastage in traffic blocks.
• Always interact with clients professionally.
• Keep mileage records and repair records up to date.

Academic & trades qualifications

• Proven work experience as a driver for a minimum of 8 years in UAE.
• Valid driver's license and clean driving record.
• Familiarity with local roads and highways.
• Ability to lift and load materials.
• Ability to handle minor vehicle maintenance.
• Ability to read and follow maps.
• Knowledge of standard safety practices.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: Up to AED1,800.00 per month
