Job Title: Delivery Driver Responsibilities:
Contract length: 12 months Salary: From AED2,000.00 per month License/Certification:
- Transportation of Goods:
- Safely and efficiently operate a delivery vehicle to transport goods from the point of origin to the designated destination.
- Follow predetermined routes and schedules to ensure timely deliveries.
- Loading and Unloading:
- Load and unload goods onto the delivery vehicle, ensuring proper handling and secure packaging to prevent damage during transit.
- Documentation:
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date delivery logs, records, and documentation.
- Obtain necessary signatures and confirmations upon delivery of goods.
- Vehicle Maintenance:
- Conduct routine inspections of the delivery vehicle to ensure it is in good working condition.
- Report any mechanical issues or maintenance needs promptly.
- Customer Service:
- Interact professionally with customers at delivery points, providing excellent customer service.
- Address customer inquiries and concerns, and report feedback to the relevant authorities.
- Adherence to Traffic Laws:
- Obey all traffic laws and regulations to ensure the safety of oneself, other road users, and the transported goods.
- Time Management:
- Manage time effectively to meet delivery deadlines.
- Communicate any delays or issues that may affect the delivery schedule.
- Communication:
- Maintain clear and open communication with dispatch, supervisors, and other team members.
- Driver\'s License:
- Possession of a valid and clean driver\'s license appropriate for the type of vehicle being operated.
- Driving Experience:
- Previous experience as a delivery driver is often preferred.
- Physical Fitness:
- Ability to lift and carry packages of varying weights.
- Physical fitness to handle the demands of loading and unloading goods.
- Navigation Skills:
- Familiarity with local routes and the ability to use navigation tools effectively.
- Customer Service Skills:
- Strong interpersonal and customer service skills.
- Reliability:
- Dependability and a strong sense of responsibility to fulfill delivery obligations.
- Attention to Detail:
- Careful handling of goods and accurate documentation.
