The Role
We are seeking an experienced and safety-focused Lifting Supervisor .

• The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing all lifting operations on-site, ensuring compliance with safety regulations and standards while promoting a culture of safety and efficiency.
• Requiring strong leadership, excellent communication skills, and a deep understanding of lifting operations and equipment.

Responsibilities: -

• Plan and coordinate all lifting operations on-site, ensuring compliance with all safety regulations and standards.
• Conduct risk assessments and safety audits for lifting operations, identifying potential hazards and implementing mitigation strategies.
• Supervise and manage the lifting team, providing guidance and support to ensure that all team members are adequately trained and equipped.
• Communicate with project managers and engineers to understand lifting requirements and project timelines, ensuring that all operations are aligned with project goals.
• Maintain and oversee the maintenance of lifting equipment, ensuring that all equipment is in safe and working condition.
• Develop and implement safe lifting plans, ensuring that all operations are carried out in accordance with industry best practices.
• Conduct training sessions for lifting personnel, ensuring that they are knowledgeable about equipment operation and safety protocols.
• Investigate any incidents or accidents related to lifting operations and report findings to management, recommending improvements where necessary.
• Ensure proper documentation and reporting of all lifting operations, maintaining records of inspections, maintenance, and incidents.
• Promote a culture of safety on-site, encouraging team members to prioritize safety and report any unsafe conditions or behaviors.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Lifting Supervisor or in a similar role within the engineering industry.
• In-depth knowledge of lifting operations, equipment, and safety regulations.
• Valid lifting supervisor certification and relevant safety training certifications (e.g., OSHA, NEBOSH).
• Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage a team effectively. - Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to interact effectively with diverse teams and stakeholders.
• Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to assess situations quickly and make sound decisions.
• Attention to detail and a strong commitment to safety and quality.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Willingness to work in the field and adapt to changing site conditions.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: AED2,000.00 - AED3,000.00 per month
