We are seeking a skilled and safety-focused Lifting Supervisor to join our team at China Harbour Engineering Company. The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing and managing all lifting activities, ensuring compliance with safety regulations, and maintaining a secure and efficient work environment. Responsibilities: Supervision and Coordination: Direct and supervise lifting operations, coordinating with lifting teams and other departments to ensure seamless workflow. Safety Compliance: Enforce strict adherence to safety protocols and regulations during all lifting activities, conducting regular safety inspections, and implementing corrective measures as needed. Equipment Inspection: Inspect and ensure the proper functioning of lifting equipment, including cranes, hoists, and rigging gear, and promptly address any issues identified. Team Training: Provide training to lifting teams on safe operating procedures, equipment usage, and emergency response protocols. Project Planning: Collaborate with project managers and engineers to plan and schedule lifting activities, considering project timelines and safety requirements. Documentation: Maintain accurate records of lifting activities, including inspection reports, safety certifications, and equipment maintenance logs. Risk Assessment: Conduct risk assessments before lifting operations, identifying potential hazards and implementing mitigation measures to minimize risks. Emergency Response: Develop and implement emergency response plans for lifting operations, ensuring the safety of personnel and equipment. Requirements: Proven experience as a Lifting Supervisor or similar role in construction or heavy industries. In-depth knowledge of lifting equipment, rigging practices, and safety regulations. Certification in Lifting Operations (e.g., CPCS, NCCCO) is highly desirable. Strong leadership and communication skills. Ability to analyze and solve problems in a dynamic work environment. Physical fitness and ability to work at heights. Knowledge of relevant lifting and rigging standards and best practices. Job Type: Full-time
