Designing of Lifting Arrangement with structural integrity check for Structural blocks & modules, including Heavy Lifts Floating crane.
Preparation of design for temporary supporting structures/jigs during fabrication of hull sections, modules or other heavy constructions.
Preparation of Load-out drawings.
Ensuring engineering work undertaken is in accordance with Departmental Work Instructions, Procedures and Standards.
Maintaining the discipline of the department and yard.
Conducting shipyard audits, risk assessment and training as required.
Other tasks given by the Department Manager in line with departmental activities.
Requirements
Masters/Bachelors in Mechanical Engineering
10 + years of experience in training in oil, gas, petrochemical, chemical, fertilisers or related industry and Quality Inspection services for lifting operations.
Preferred ADNOC Approved Appointed Person for onshore Pedestal Crane with all type of lifts Routine, Non-Routine (Simple, complicated, and complex lift).
Certificate in LEEA (Lifting Equipment Engineers Association) will be an advantage.
Knowledgeable in writing Lifting plans, supervise and executing critical lifting in oil & gas companies.
Familiar with International Standard related to Lifting engineering practices.
