Specializing in premium heavy equipment solutions, including crane sales and rentals, we are currently seeking an experienced Lifting Engineer - for our Dubai location. Position Overview: We are seeking a skilled and experienced Lifting Engineer to join our team. The Lifting Engineer will play a crucial role in ensuring the safe and efficient operation of heavy lifting equipment. This position requires a deep understanding of lifting operations and adherence to industry standards and regulations. Responsibilities:
- Oversee and manage all aspects of lifting operations on construction sites, including planning, execution, and supervision.
- Conduct thorough risk assessments prior to lifting activities to identify potential hazards and implement appropriate control measures.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant safety regulations, industry standards, and company policies.
- Provide technical expertise and guidance to site personnel regarding proper equipment selection, and lifting procedures.
- Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to develop lifting plans that meet project requirements and safety standards.
- Inspect lifting equipment regularly to ensure proper functioning and compliance with maintenance schedules.
- Train and mentor site personnel on safe lifting practices, including proper use of equipment and adherence to safety protocols.
- Maintain accurate records of lifting operations, including equipment inspections, incident reports, and compliance documentation.
- Stay current with industry trends, best practices, and technological advancements in lifting equipment and techniques.
- Minimum of 1-4 years of experience in a similar role
- Certification as a Lifting Supervisor.
- Rigging Certificate - Rigger Level 3 is an added advantage
- LEEA (Lifting Equipment Engineers Association) certification is highly desirable.
- Strong knowledge of lifting equipment and safety protocols.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Effective communication skills, with the ability to interact professionally with clients and team members.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
- Flexibility to adapt to changing project requirements and priorities.
- Bachelor\'s degree in Engineering or related field .
- Previous experience with premium heavy equipment solutions, particularly cranes.
- Candidates without formal certification but with extensive experience in lifting operations will also be considered.
