Job Overview:



The Lifting Appointment Person (with ADNOC approval) will be responsible for overseeing and managing all lifting operations on ADNOC-controlled sites. This individual will ensure that all lifting activities comply with ADNOC's safety standards, regulatory requirements, and operational procedures. The position requires an immediate start, and the appointed person will be expected to maintain a high level of safety and operational efficiency in lifting activities, supervising all lifting operations, risk assessments, and ensuring correct documentation.

Key Responsibilities:



Lifting Operations Supervision:

Appoint and oversee the safe execution of lifting operations, ensuring that all activities comply with ADNOC's lifting procedures and safety protocols. Review and approve lifting method statements (LMS), risk assessments, and lifting plans before any operation begins. Ensure lifting activities are conducted safely, effectively, and in accordance with ADNOC's guidelines.

Safety Management and Compliance:

Oversee and enforce ADNOC's Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) policies during all lifting operations. Ensure that all lifting equipment used is compliant with ADNOC's approval and meets safety standards. Manage the lifting permit-to-work system, ensuring that all necessary permits are issued, reviewed, and closed according to ADNOC's guidelines.

Risk Assessment and Planning:

Conduct and review risk assessments and method statements for each lifting operation to ensure safety and compliance with ADNOC regulations. Ensure that all safety hazards are identified and mitigated prior to lifting operations. Evaluate potential environmental and operational risks associated with lifting activities and propose corrective actions as needed.

Team Leadership and Coordination:

Provide leadership and supervision to lifting teams, including crane operators, riggers, and ground crew, ensuring proper communication and coordination. Ensure that all lifting personnel are trained and competent, according to ADNOC's lifting safety and operational standards. Conduct pre-lift briefings to ensure all personnel are informed of roles, safety measures, and procedures.

Documentation and Reporting:

Maintain accurate records of lifting operations, including permits, inspection reports, and safety assessments, as required by ADNOC's regulatory standards. Ensure that lifting equipment is inspected regularly, and certification is up-to-date to meet ADNOC's compliance standards. Report any lifting-related incidents, near-misses, or unsafe practices promptly and initiate corrective actions.

Emergency Response:

Act as the lead during any emergency related to lifting operations, ensuring swift and appropriate actions are taken according to ADNOC's emergency response protocols. Investigate lifting-related incidents and implement corrective measures to prevent recurrence.

Required Qualifications:



ADNOC-approved certification for the position of Lifting Appointment Person or equivalent. years of experience in lifting operations, with a strong focus on compliance, safety, and ADNOC procedures. Thorough understanding of ADNOC's lifting procedures, HSE standards, and lifting equipment requirements. Proven experience with lifting equipment, rigging, and crane operations in the oil, gas, or industrial sectors. Valid safety certifications (e.g., First Aid, Working at Heights, Fire Safety). Strong verbal and written communication skills in English. Ability to make quick decisions and handle high-pressure situations.

Work Environment:



This position requires immediate joining and may involve working in remote or offshore environments. Shift work, extended hours, and overtime may be required based on project demands. Adherence to all ADNOC safety and operational standards is critical to ensure safe working conditions.

Pay: AED6,000.00 - AED7,000.00 per month
