Job Description

We are looking for a skilled Lift Technician to join our team. As a Lift Technician, you will be responsible for maintaining, repairing, and servicing various types of elevators and lifts. This is a vital role within our organization as you will ensure the safe and efficient operation of our vertical transportation systems.Responsibilities

Troubleshoot and diagnose elevator malfunctions, determining the most appropriate repairs or replacement of parts
Perform preventive maintenance tasks, including lubrication, adjustment, and operational testing
Inspect and test elevators to ensure compliance with safety codes and regulations
Replace defective parts and components, such as control panels, motors, cables, and safety devices
Keep accurate records of all maintenance and repair work performed
Respond to emergency repair requests and perform necessary repairs in a timely manner
Provide exceptional customer service by addressing client inquiries and concerns in a professional manner

Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent is required; certification in elevator repair or a related field is preferred
Proven experience as a Lift Technician or similar role
Thorough knowledge of elevator systems, including mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic components
Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently
Physical stamina to perform manual labor and lift heavy equipment
Availability to be on call for emergency repairs
Valid driver\'s license and reliable transportation to travel to different job sites
