Key Responsibilities:
• To greet all guests entering the resort in a pleasant and friendly manner
• To be present at the poolside / beach area and maintains a constant observance of swimmers in the pool and the sea, safe activities and follow the rules and regulation of the Club.
• To instruct guests regarding their safety procedures and take every possible risk to ensure the safety of the guests at all times.
• To understand the swimming pool Emergency Action Procedure and to be able to follow this procedures in the event of any emergency occurring.
• To understand and be competent in the use of all rescue equipment, rescue techniques, first aid and resuscitation. Participates in refresher course and other training activities.
• To carry a whistle at all times and use the correct signals to attract attention to different incidents and informs the Recreation Manager on any emergency situations and any day-to-day unusual activities.
• To maintain high standards of cleanliness and hygiene in the pool and ensure that the pool water is safe to swim in.
• To liaise with the pool bar staff and waiters in providing food and beverage service to Hotel Guests and club members
• To keep daily record books and log all information such a pool test results, accidents reports, complaints maintenance requirements etc.
• To provide first aid treatment in the event of any accident or injury to a guest or club member
• To be responsible in the event of staff sickness, emergency etc. to carry out cleaning duties in any part of the Health club or swimming pool areas as requested by the recreation Manger
• To carry out daily cleaning and keep the pool & beach furniture, mattresses clean and re-arranges after the use of the guests, ensure that the area is kept clean and tidy at all times.
• Takes daily reading of the water samples, add swimming pool chemical, vacuuming the floors and scrubs the walls of the swimming pools.
• To collect any towels or hotels equipment, to be returned to their relevant department and any leftover items of the guest to be handover to the lost and found department.
• Assists guests to provide sun lounge, umbrellas, moving them to the desired location.
• Cleans the beach with the sand sifter and pick up other trash along the beach and shore.
• Prevent any misuse of any hotel equipment.
• Work as a team together with other recreation and hotel staff.
• Coordinates with the waiters, that soiled glasses and plates are removed at once.
• Carries out any other duty as directed by the Recreation Manager
• To cross train in other areas of the Fitness Centre operations and cover other areas if required.
• To adhere to all Hotels policies and procedures.
• Any other duties as directed by the management
• Ensuring all areas of pool and beach hygiene and health and safety regulations are strictly adhered to and implements any legislation as required by UAE Law

Pay: From AED1,400.00 per month
