This role requires you to provide end-to-end recruitment solutions, from understanding client needs to placing high-quality candidates in key positions. You will collaborate with hiring managers and stakeholders to drive successful hiring outcomes across the pharmaceutical, biotech, medical device, and healthcare sectors. Your deep understanding of the life sciences domain, paired with your recruitment expertise, will be essential in delivering a comprehensive, candidate-focused recruitment service.Key Responsibilities:
  • Client Engagement: Partner with clients in the life sciences industry to understand their recruitment needs, challenges, and talent requirements.
  • Talent Sourcing: Use a variety of sourcing methods (including job boards, social media, networking, and talent mapping) to identify and attract top candidates across pharmaceutical, biotech, medical device, and healthcare sectors.
  • Candidate Screening: Conduct thorough interviews, including competency-based assessments, to evaluate candidate qualifications, motivations, and cultural fit for client organizations.
  • End-to-End Recruitment: Manage the entire recruitment lifecycle, from job briefing to candidate offer and placement, ensuring a seamless process for both clients and candidates.
  • Market Intelligence: Provide insights on the talent landscape, salary benchmarking, and market trends within the life sciences sector to inform client decision-making.
  • Stakeholder Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with both clients and candidates, providing a high-touch service and ensuring long-term success.
  • Compliance & Documentation: Ensure recruitment processes comply with legal and industry standards, maintaining accurate records and documentation of candidate interactions.
  • Reporting & Metrics: Track and report on recruitment KPIs, providing clients with regular updates and insights on the status of ongoing searches.
  • Strategic Recruitment: Support clients in strategic talent planning, ensuring they have the right skills for business growth and transformation.
  • Brand Representation: Represent [Company Name] as a trusted advisor to clients and candidates in the life sciences sector, maintaining a high standard of professionalism.
Skills and Qualifications:
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Life Sciences, Human Resources, or related field (advanced degree preferred).
  • Experience: Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in talent acquisition, with a focus on life sciences industries (pharma, biotech, healthcare, medical devices).
  • Industry Knowledge: Strong understanding of the life sciences sector, including current trends, regulatory requirements, and talent challenges.
  • Recruitment Expertise: Proven experience managing the full recruitment cycle, from candidate sourcing to placement.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to engage and influence senior stakeholders.
  • Technology Proficiency: Experience using Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS), recruitment tools, and social media platforms to manage candidate pipelines and client engagements.
  • Relationship Building: Ability to build and maintain lasting relationships with clients and candidates.
  • Multitasking and Time Management: Proven ability to manage multiple recruitment projects simultaneously while maintaining a high standard of work.
