Liaison/ Authorities Coordinator Construction

Job Description

The Authorities Coordinator will support project establishment, execution, and compliance with regulatory requirements.

The Authorities Coordinator will be responsible for liaising with various government offices, service authorities, and agencies, such as Dubai Municipality, Dubai Development Authority, RTA, DEWA, SEWA, FEWA, Transco, DCAA, Dubai Civil Defense, CICPA, DLD, Trakhees, Dubai South, and Dubai Property Group. The role involves obtaining Pile and Shoring permits,, municipality and RTA site inspections, preparing engineering drawings for government submissions, and ensuring necessary approvals for projects.

Provide geotechnical information and design support at both pre- and post-award stages, technical support to all relevant parties

4) Duties and responsibilities

Assist operations team and Design Manager in obtaining all projects NOCs

Follow up any fine or penalty on the company and make sure to highlight the reason and submit report to direct manager

Use MEPS system to receive and upload the documents

Assist surveying team to develop and plot the provided data.

Assist project managers to make Site logistic as required.

Collaborate with Estimation and Technical teams to make any required NOCs in tender stage.

Submit and prepare all NOCS charts for any project.

Visit sites to help operations / consultants as directed by design team

Attend meetings for any NOCs issues if required

Any other duties as given by Design Manager

To help in projects handing over and submit all necessary documents to the Main contractor or client

To pay or refund any deposit paid under NOC subjects in collaboration with accounts.

Follow up with any subcontractor for shifting services or service protection.

Highlighting the challenges of any obstruction or services exit in any current or upcoming project to Design manager

Liaise with all authorities for any directed job.

Establish and maintain effective communication with various government offices, service authorities, and agencies.

Obtain Pile permits and Shoring, Mobilization and Construction NOCs for projects.

Arrange and coordinate municipality, DDA, Trakhess and RTA site inspections.

Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements and standards.

Assist in resolving any issues or discrepancies identified during inspections.

Prepare and submit engineering drawings and technical documents for government approval.

Provide support during the initial setup and execution of projects.

Provide ongoing support during project execution to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.

Liaise with internal teams to ensure all necessary approvals and permits are obtained.

Maintain relationships with key contacts in government and regulatory bodies.

6) Job Specifications

Minimum education level required:

Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field.

CAD course, Microsoft Software good knowledge and driving license, Meps knowledge. And English Fluency.

Work Experience

3+ years relevant experience in Authorities follow up field

knowledge of CAD software, Microsoft office good knowledge and driving license, Meps knowledge.

English Fluency

Previous work experience in ground engineering firm preferred

Strong knowledge of regulatory requirements and procedures related to NOCs and permits.

Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
